HRZN is an artist-centered editorial publication from the Berklee Emerging Artistic Technology Lab (BEATL) created to chronicle, inspire, critique, and demystify the intersection of emerging technologies and music for students and educators while raising awareness of the cutting edge work being done within Berklee communities.

How HRZN Supports BEATL
HRZN is BEATL's public knowledge and editorial platform. It extends BEATL's work beyond individual programs and events by translating research, experimentation, conversations, and artist experience into accessible, practical content. HRZN strives to strengthen the ability of creators to understand new technologies, protect their rights and agency, explore new creative possibilities, and build sustainable careers.
